RGN/Trainee Practice Nurse

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings.

The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma, COPD or diabetes. We also offer routine cervical screening appointments.

Minor ailment appointments are available as book on the day appointments.

The practice nurses also run a travel vaccination clinic every Tuesday afternoon (please complete a travel form, available at reception. One of our team will then contact you with an appointment if necessary)

When booking an appointment with the nurse, it would be helpful if you could tell the receptionist what the appointment is for to enable them to direct you to the appropriate clinic.

Healthcare Assistants

Jill Harding (f)
Lisa Riches (f)
Fozia Ali (f)

We have two regular Healthcare Assistants who perform phlebotomy, 24 hour BP monitoring, anticoagulation clinics (INR), new patient health checks, blood pressure monitoring via protocol and flu vaccinations. We also have three dual-role Healthcare Assistants who have undertaken the same high level of training, whilst also working in another role at the practice.
